As a key member of our Future Technologies Division, you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates, quantum physicists, and software engineers to prototype scalable quantum architectures. You'll pioneer error-correction methodologies and hybrid quantum-classical workflows that will power breakthrough applications across industries.
Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processor architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead implementation of quantum error correction protocols at scale
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum acceleration into machine learning pipelines
- Architect secure quantum communication networks resistant to quantum attacks
- Drive prototyping of quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Research and implement novel quantum sensing applications for medical diagnostics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, color codes)
- Proficiency in low-level quantum hardware control systems
- Strong background in superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum hardware
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures
- Deep understanding of quantum cryptography protocols
