Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits and error-correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications
- Lead quantum hardware integration with cloud platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Collaborate with physicists to optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelities
- Architect quantum security frameworks for next-gen cryptography
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in Nature/Science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience considered)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven experience with quantum hardware (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in complex algorithm design and optimization
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience leading cross-functional technical teams
