Responsibilities
- Architect quantum algorithms for enterprise-scale optimization problems
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Lead quantum-classical integration for hybrid cloud platforms
- Develop quantum-resistant encryption protocols for financial systems
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech on quantum error correction research
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging 2026 quantum standards
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years building production quantum systems on IBM Quantum or Rigetti
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and variational algorithms
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (e.g., Nature Quantum)
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
- Experience with quantum hardware calibration and decoherence mitigation
- Security clearance eligibility for DoD quantum projects
