Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms with 100+ qubit systems
- Optimize quantum error correction protocols for real-world deployment
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Research emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic quantum processors)
- Collaborate with government agencies on quantum security standards
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in Nature Physics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing or high-performance computing
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting qubit systems or ion trap technologies
- Strong background in machine learning and classical optimization
- Ability to secure Tier 1 quantum cloud computing resources
