Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum systems
- Collaborate with industry partners to define quantum use cases for 2026
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (photonic, superconducting, topological)
- Present quantum solutions to C-suite executives and government stakeholders
- Drive innovation through quarterly quantum algorithm competitions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum systems
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D grants from DARPA/NSF
- Expertise in hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Track record of deploying production quantum systems
