Responsibilities
- Architect quantum algorithms for commercial-scale optimization problems
- Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits with error correction protocols
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Develop quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Secure $5M+ R&D funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Establish industry standards for quantum security protocols
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum hardware
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum entanglement
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit simulators
- Experience with cryogenic quantum computing systems
