Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems for commercial deployment by 2026
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Design quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant operations
- Develop integration frameworks between classical and quantum computing environments
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Drive R&D initiatives in quantum hardware optimization
- Present architectural blueprints to executive stakeholders and industry partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or high-performance system design
- Expertise in quantum algorithms and error correction methodologies
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, etc.)
- Strong background in distributed systems and cloud infrastructure
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience leading technical teams in agile environments
- Deep understanding of quantum security implications
