Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems using superconducting and photonic qubits
- Design error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and finance
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Secure $50M+ in research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics and Science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of quantum computing architecture experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit design frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience leading technical teams of 10+ engineers
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain)
