Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for 2026-era applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum algorithms
- Research emerging quantum technologies (topological qubits, photonic systems)
- Collaborate with academic institutions on quantum supremacy projects
- Translate quantum computational problems into hardware specifications
- Define quantum security protocols for post-quantum encryption standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum systems
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quipper, Cirq)
- Experience with superconducting qubit platforms or trapped ions
- Deep understanding of quantum complexity classes (BQP, QMA)
- Track record of commercializing quantum technologies
- Security clearance preferred for government-funded projects
