Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with >1000 logical qubits
- Develop error correction protocols achieving 99.99% fidelity
- Create hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead integration of quantum systems with cloud platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop quantum machine learning frameworks
- Patent novel quantum computing methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing or advanced superconducting systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware design
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
