Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Develop error-corrected qubit architectures using superconducting systems
- Optimize quantum circuit compilation for multi-qubit coherence
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams on hybrid quantum-classical models
- Lead quantum security protocol audits for Fortune 500 clients
- Publish research in Nature Physics/Quantum journals
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum mechanics fundamentals
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Engineering
- 3+ years hands-on quantum computing experience (IBM Q, Rigetti, or D-Wave)
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
- Published work in quantum algorithms or hardware optimization
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
- Expertise in Python/C++ with high-performance computing
