Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum algorithms for real-world applications in finance and pharmaceuticals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical computing systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and quantum neural networks
- Document quantum architectures and publish findings in leading journals
- Mentor junior engineers on quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Proficiency in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics principles
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Knowledge of quantum machine learning algorithms and applications
