Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures supporting 1M+ qubit operations
- Develop cryogenic control systems with sub-10mK stability requirements
- Integrate quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows for enterprise clients
- Create quantum error correction protocols for 99.9999% fidelity
- Lead cross-quantum technology stack integration (photonic, superconducting, trapped ion)
- Establish quantum-safe cybersecurity frameworks for 2026 digital infrastructure
- Drive open-source quantum compiler development initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years experience in high-performance computing architecture
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerance protocols
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Quil)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Experience scaling quantum systems beyond 1000 qubits
