Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Develop quantum error-correction techniques to enhance qubit stability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to calibrate and troubleshoot quantum processors
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning applications
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents for breakthrough innovations
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Present findings at international quantum computing symposiums
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record of publishing in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design for NISQ-era hardware
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and information theory
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum hardware integration
