Responsibilities

- Secure $5M+ in research grants from DARPA, NSF, and private sector partners
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with industry leaders to commercialize quantum breakthroughs
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature Physics and Science journals
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years of research experience
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction (h-index > 20)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and circuit optimization
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants ($3M+ total)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in high-pressure environments
