Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning

- Secure government and private funding for quantum research initiatives
- Mentor a team of quantum computing researchers and PhD candidates

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms and quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or equivalent quantum computing venues
- Strong background in quantum mechanics and linear algebra
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Demonstrated ability to secure $1M+ research grants
- Exceptional leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
