Responsibilities
- Architect and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems

- Develop commercial applications for quantum cryptography and machine learning
- Secure $5M+ in government and private research grants
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Establish industry partnerships with Fortune 500 quantum adoption programs
- Mentor PhD researchers and patent novel quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of quantum computing research with published qubit stabilization breakthroughs
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Experience leading R&D teams in high-growth tech environments
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and 2026 quantum roadmap
