Responsibilities
- Architect quantum algorithms for commercial applications in drug discovery and materials science
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Secure $5M+ in research funding through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Develop quantum security protocols for 2026-era communication networks
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum machine learning
- Collaborate with Intel and IBM on quantum-hybrid computing frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants
- Expertise in superconducting qubit architectures
