Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography optimization and molecular modeling
- Oversee deployment of 100+ qubit quantum processors in production environments
- Drive cross-functional research initiatives with AI/ML and neurotech teams
- Secure $10M+ in government and private quantum research grants
- Present findings at global quantum summits and publish in Nature/Science
- Mentor post-quantum security specialists and quantum hardware engineers
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise clients
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.) on quantum algorithms
- Proven track record securing $5M+ in research funding
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum system optimization
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Demonstrated ability to lead international research teams
- Clearance for DOE/NIST quantum security protocols
