Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography, material science, and AI optimization
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of physicists and engineers in developing quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government quantum initiatives
- Drive commercialization of quantum solutions through patent development and IP strategy
- Present research findings at global quantum technology summits and industry conferences
- Secure $5M+ in research grants through NSF and DoD quantum programs
- Mentor next-generation quantum researchers through our 2026 Fellowship Program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years of industry experience
- Proven track record publishing in Nature/Science journals or top quantum conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional technical teams of 10+ researchers
- Experience securing federal quantum research grants and managing multimillion-dollar budgets
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and 2026 quantum roadmap priorities
- Strong background in at least one classical HPC framework (Hadoop, Spark, or TensorFlow)
