Responsibilities
- Architect quantum algorithms for commercial applications in cryptography, materials science, and AI optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants through NSF and DoD partnerships
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Advise Fortune 500 clients on quantum integration roadmaps
- Drive open-source quantum computing initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent research experience
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development with 3+ publications in top-tier journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proven track record of securing government/industry research funding
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning frameworks
