Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for commercial applications targeting 2026 deployment milestones
- Oversee the design and optimization of quantum error correction protocols
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing systems
- Develop patentable intellectual property in quantum cryptography and machine learning
- Present research findings at international conferences and publish in leading journals
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science journals or equivalent
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and simulation frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience securing $1M+ in government or corporate research grants
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
