As a key member of our Advanced Research Division, you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates and MIT-affiliated scientists to develop scalable quantum systems. Our state-of-the-art facility in San Francisco offers unparalleled resources including 128-qubit processors and dedicated quantum annealing infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for practical commercial applications
- Manage a team of 8+ quantum physicists and computational specialists
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Establish strategic partnerships with IBM Quantum, Google AI Quantum, and D-Wave
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and secure NSF/DOE grants
- Develop quantum-safe cybersecurity protocols for 2026 infrastructure
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Week and World Economic Forum summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Publication record in top-tier quantum research journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum error correction frameworks
- Proven success securing federal research grants ($1M+)
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy milestones
- Clearance for DOE/NIST quantum security projects
- Fluency in quantum machine learning techniques
