Responsibilities
- Lead quantum algorithm development for post-quantum cryptographic systems
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical AI frameworks for 2026-scale applications
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Manage $2M+ research budget with cross-functional engineering teams
- Secure government/DoD quantum security certifications
- Present findings at Davos, Web Summit, and IEEE Quantum Week
- Develop IP strategy for 15+ quantum-related patents
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science with 5+ years R&D
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in Qiskit/Cirq and quantum error correction
- Experience with AWS Braket/IBM Quantum services
- Security clearance preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Proven track record of translating theory to commercial products
- Strong background in machine learning optimization
