Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms targeting 2026 breakthrough milestones
- Lead quantum error correction research for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize qubit connectivity and coherence
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present findings at international conferences
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for industrial applications
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error mitigation
- Experience with NISQ-era hardware constraints and optimization
