Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead quantum hardware-software integration projects to optimize qubit performance and error correction
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop quantum applications for finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Author high-impact research papers and patents in quantum computing theory
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
- Stay abreast of emerging quantum technologies and industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithm design (Shor's, Grover's, VQE, etc.) and quantum circuit optimization
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and high-performance computing
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals or conferences
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ) or simulators
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex research projects and collaborate across disciplines
