Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world optimization problems
- Lead qubit stabilization research to achieve >99.9% fidelity targets
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Present findings at major quantum computing conferences (Q2B, IEEE Quantum Week)
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research with qubit manipulation
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published work in quantum error correction or algorithm optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and linear algebra at graduate level
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or photonic quantum processors
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into experimental results
