Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum machine learning projects
- Publish findings in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
- Secure $1M+ in DARPA quantum computing grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Collaborate with IBM Quantum and Google AI teams
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum circuit simulation tools
- Published research in quantum computing or topological systems
- Proficiency in Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement principles
- Track record of solving NP-hard problems
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware interfaces
- Security clearance preferred for government projects
