Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for practical 2026-era applications
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using superconducting and photonic systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into classical computing frameworks
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Secure and manage quantum computing research grants from government and private sector partners

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years postdoctoral experience
- Published research in quantum computing algorithms or quantum information theory
- Hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Proven ability to secure research funding (NSF, DoE, or industry grants)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or photonic quantum processors
