Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error mitigation protocols for multi-qubit quantum systems

- Translate theoretical models into practical quantum software implementations
- Mentor junior researchers and graduate students

Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes
- Experience with cryogenic quantum system operation
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research grants
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
