Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop error-correction protocols
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Lead cross-functional teams on quantum cloud integration projects
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for industrial applications
- Secure government and private research funding
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware (superconducting, ion trap)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Track record of securing research grants
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
