Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate on quantum hardware-software co-design initiatives
- Lead research publications in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum mechanics and programming
- Partner with industry partners to commercialize quantum solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or error correction
- Proficiency in Python and high-performance computing frameworks
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems preferred
- Ability to secure DoD research clearance (if applicable)
