Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead experimental validation of quantum systems in state-of-the-art cryogenic laboratories
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate theoretical models into practical applications
- Publish breakthrough research in leading quantum computing journals and conferences
- Secure and manage research funding through government and industry partnerships
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit design tools
- Demonstrated ability to secure competitive research grants
- Strong background in quantum information theory and many-body physics
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems preferred
- Track record of innovative problem-solving in high-complexity domains
