Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and drug discovery
- Lead research on error correction techniques for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Develop novel quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processor architectures
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE) and secure patents
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum theory and experimental protocols
- Present breakthroughs at global conferences including IEEE Quantum Week
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Expertise in linear algebra, quantum information theory, and computational complexity
- Proficiency with Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure federal research grants (NSF, DOE, DARPA)
