Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to validate quantum processor performance

- Lead cross-functional projects in quantum machine learning
- Secure $2M+ in government/industry research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published peer-reviewed quantum algorithm research
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization techniques
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding
