Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental research on quantum hardware-software integration and error correction protocols
- Develop scalable quantum simulation frameworks for complex molecular and material science modeling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate theoretical research into practical quantum solutions
- Author high-impact research papers and present findings at premier quantum computing conferences
- Drive innovation in quantum neural networks and hybrid quantum-classical computing architectures
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum computing education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit optimization
- Strong background in quantum error correction, fault tolerance, and quantum decoherence mitigation
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier quantum computing or physics journals
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated ability to work with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to diverse stakeholders
