Responsibilities
- Lead research initiatives in quantum algorithm development and error correction protocols
- Design and implement novel quantum hardware architectures for commercial applications
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present findings at international conferences
- Secure research funding through NSF and DARPA grant applications
- Mentor junior researchers and supervise graduate student projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research with published papers
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and entanglement phenomena
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and superconducting qubits
- Strong track record of interdisciplinary collaboration in tech innovation
