Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for error correction and optimization
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in developing quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals
- Secure $2M+ in DOE/NASA grants for 2026 quantum infrastructure projects
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning applications
- Present findings at IEEE Quantum Computing Summit
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics/Computer Science with quantum focus (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault tolerance
- Strong Python/C++ skills with parallel computing experience
- Familiarity with NISQ hardware limitations and mitigation strategies
- Experience securing government quantum research grants
