Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge quantum software-hardware interfaces and error mitigation strategies
- Lead research initiatives in quantum supremacy applications for finance, healthcare, and climate modeling
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development for quantum IP portfolios
- Develop scalable quantum software frameworks compatible with leading quantum processors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, and decoherence management
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization techniques
- Publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Demonstrated experience with cloud-based quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong problem-solving skills for NP-hard problems using quantum approaches
