Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization
- Lead experiments on superconducting qubit systems at cryogenic temperatures

- Collaborate with hardware engineers to improve quantum processor stability
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at IEEE/APS conferences
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants from DARPA/NSF
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Proficiency with machine learning for quantum system optimization
- Security clearance eligibility for government-funded projects
