Responsibilities
- Lead advanced quantum algorithm research and development for practical applications
- Design and optimize quantum error correction protocols for scalable systems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate quantum processors with classical computing frameworks
- Develop machine learning models for quantum system optimization and simulation
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Secure and manage research partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation through cross-functional workshops
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum field with 3+ years of research experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm design and quantum circuit optimization
- Strong publication record in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE, etc.)
- Familiarity with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementation roadmaps
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
