Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum error correction methods
- Publish research in top-tier journals (Nature/Science) and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum computing methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Expertise in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with scientific computing libraries
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Strong track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical implementations
