Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead research on quantum error correction techniques for scalable systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors

- Secure federal and private research grants (target: $2M+ annually)
- Mentor junior researchers and PhD candidates
- Develop intellectual property portfolio with 5+ patents/year
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
