Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error-corrected quantum computing architectures
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Partner with government agencies on quantum-resistant cybersecurity solutions
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers in quantum information theory
- Drive commercialization of quantum technologies through patent development
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information with 3+ years postdoctoral experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and Qiskit/Cirq frameworks
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields (20+ citations preferred)
- Familiarity with quantum machine learning and variational quantum algorithms
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Demonstrated ability to secure research grants (NSF, DARPA, etc.)
