Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex computational challenges
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and hardware optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Develop quantum simulation tools and validate results on real quantum processors
- Secure and manage research partnerships with leading academic institutions
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing focus
- 3+ years of experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or similar)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, information theory, and complexity classes
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact research in quantum computing
- Expertise in machine learning and classical-quantum hybrid systems
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum hardware interfaces
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
