Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using IBM, Rigetti, and D-Wave systems
- Develop error mitigation techniques for fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature Physics and IEEE Quantum Journal
- Secure $2M+ in DARPA and NSF grant funding for quantum initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Qiskit, Cirq, or Q# frameworks
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubits
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with superconducting and trapped-ion quantum processors
