Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes at -273°C
- Publish 2+ peer-reviewed papers annually in Nature/Science journals
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum information theory
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants from NSF/DARPA
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years hands-on quantum circuit development using Qiskit/Cirq
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with low-level systems programming
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
