Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction techniques and quantum simulation protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge quantum software and physical qubit implementations
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and hybrid quantum-classical computing
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international quantum computing conferences
- Secure and manage research funding from government and industry partners
- Mentor junior researchers and foster an innovative quantum computing culture
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years post-doctoral experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction, fault tolerance, and quantum information theory
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or related high-impact journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ) and cloud quantum services
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex quantum concepts to diverse audiences
