Responsibilities

- Develop quantum software frameworks compatible with emerging hardware platforms (superconducting, photonic, topological)
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at global conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and foster collaborative innovation within quantum ecosystems
- Secure external funding through NSF, DARPA, and industry partnerships
- Translate theoretical models into practical quantum computing solutions for Fortune 500 clients
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit optimization
- Published record in quantum information science or quantum machine learning
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics
- Ability to secure and manage research grants ($500K+ preferred)
