Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Implement and test quantum circuits on superconducting and photonic platforms
- Lead error mitigation strategies for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to hybridize classical-quantum machine learning models
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and secure industry partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in quantum information theory and many-body physics
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Python and high-performance computing frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to translate theory into practical implementations
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
